The rules of the rink.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of inorout.io ("InorOut", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using InorOut, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

InorOut helps hockey teams organize. Managers can build rosters, schedule games and practices, import league calendars, collect RSVPs, set lines, track dues and fees, and communicate with the team. Players and substitutes can respond to events, chat, view lineups and track their own balances.

We may add, change or remove features over time. We'll try to give notice of significant changes that affect how you use InorOut.

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you may only use InorOut with a parent or guardian's permission.
• One person per account. Don't create accounts for others without their permission, or impersonate anyone.

Team managers control their team's settings, roster, schedule, lineups, fees and content. By inviting someone, a manager confirms they have a legitimate reason to contact that person and that the information they enter about them is accurate.

Managers decide whether players and substitutes may join, and may remove or block members. Substitutes have limited access to team features by design.

If you delete a team, all of its data, including events, RSVPs, stats, lineups, messages, media and payment records, is permanently removed and can't be recovered.

InorOut tracks dues, fees and game charges and lets players report payments, but money between players and managers is exchanged outside InorOut, for example via Venmo, Zelle or cash.

• InorOut is not a party to those payments, doesn't hold or transfer funds, and isn't responsible for amounts owed, refunds between members, or disputes about them.
• Balances shown in InorOut are records kept by your manager and are only as accurate as the information entered.
• Managers are responsible for setting fair amounts and for honoring any commitments they make to their team.

InorOut is free to use with ads. You can remove ads for a team or for yourself with a one-time purchase or a monthly plan. Prices are shown before you pay and payments are processed securely by Stripe.

• Monthly plans renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and the plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
• One-time purchases apply for the period described at checkout.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If you think you were charged in error, contact us through the Support page and we'll review it.

You own the content you post on InorOut, such as messages, photos, videos, polls and comments. You give us a limited license to store, display and share it with your team so we can operate the service. This license ends when your content is deleted, except for backup copies kept for a limited time.

You're responsible for what you post and must have the rights to share it, including permission from people who appear in photos or videos you upload.

Keep it in the spirit of the game. You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, bully or discriminate against anyone.
• Post content that is illegal, sexually explicit, hateful, violent, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Spam teammates, or invite people who haven't agreed to be contacted.
• Share other members' personal information outside the team without their consent.
• Try to access teams or data you don't belong to, interfere with the service, or misuse our systems.
• Use InorOut for anything unrelated to organizing a team or for commercial solicitation.

Members can flag content, and we may review, hide or remove content and suspend or block accounts that break these rules.

InorOut works with other services, including league calendar links, Stripe, Venmo, Zelle and Google sign-in. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we're not responsible for them. Imported calendar information comes from its source and may change or contain errors, so always confirm important game details with your league.

You may stop using InorOut at any time and ask us to delete your account through the Support page. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users, or if we stop offering the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

InorOut is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that reminders, notifications and imported schedules will always be delivered or accurate. InorOut is an organizing tool; it doesn't arrange ice time or guarantee that games will happen.

Hockey is a contact sport with inherent risks. InorOut has no responsibility for injuries, conduct, or anything that happens at games, practices or team events.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, InorOut will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50.

Some places don't allow these limitations, so they may not all apply to you.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use InorOut after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
